Six-month-old Lily Braviere is about to have her second heart surgery. Her worried and exhausted parents cope with a less-than-ideal situation as the clock ticks slowly towards the start of their daughter’s complex operation. Meanwhile two other families, the Haughts and the Schiffs, recollect the day they handed over their own babies to surgeons at Hope Children’s Hospital.
